शुक्र शोणित जीव संयोगे तू खलुकुक्षिगते गर्भ संज्ञा भवति ! च. शा.
According to Ayurveda the conceptus is not only a body but a combination of Shukra (semen) शोणित (ovum) and जिव (life) in the womb.
संस्कर - संस्करोहि गुणान्तर आदानम् उच्यते !
Sanskar means acceptance of good & purifying thoughts, character etc...
There is a need to inculcate संस्कार (sanskaras) for good thoughts and right actions. Right time to start educating your child is before birth (right in the womb), the righteous thoughts of parents and others at home also affect the mind of fetus. This righteous environment positively interact with the physical and mental growth of fetus. The fetus gets the knowledge of happiness and sorrow from third months on-wards and in forth and fifth month the चेतना धातु and मन (Mind) interacts with the body more. During this period whatever संस्कर (Sanskaras) are made for his physical and physiological well-being (by the medium of hearing ) is called गर्भ संस्कर (Garbhasanskar).
Every work that we do reflects our संस्कर (sanskaras).
